Security Onion 2.4 Standalone AirGapped NETFLOW/PALOALOT SYSLOGS

So, I just upgraded from 2.3 to 2.4.20. other than adding the integration for the NetFlow logs and Palo alto Syslogs, I'm still currently not seeing any logs in Kibana or the security Onion dashboard. I added the respective ips and ports to custom host group 0 and 1 and custom port group 0 and 1. is there any step-by-step process in regard to adding NetFlow and palo alto logs?
