Hi,
Please can someone assist me.
I have a virtual machine configured on Hyper-V host as GEN 2.
This has 2 virtual NICs associated with it.
After installation, I enter configuration of the installed OS.
When I try to configure the network I cannot get the network cards to identify that the link is online.
Next to both cards it states LINK UNKNOWN.
As a result I cannot proceed past this point.
I have tried different VMs, one on GEN 1 using legacy network cards, and the standard network card.
I have gone back to GEN2, and still have this problem.
I have multiple VMs on this host of varying OS's from Ubuntu to Microsoft using the same virtual network cards except the monitoring one obviously and they have no problem with these network connections.
What do I need to do to get my LINK to become UP in the configuration setup of this VM?
