I'm trying to set up SecurityOnion on OpenNebula KVM from an ISO. First, I'm presented with the welcome screen:

I then select Install Security Onion 2.4.111 and immediately get a kernel panic:

I've checked the past threads on this repo where someone suggested using qcow2 drive format, but I haven't even reached the point where the system is being installed. Any suggestions?

Error looks similar to proxmox where you need to change the cpu type
