Are you trying to send traffic to your Security Onion server? Eval node does not run Logstash, so if you are trying to deploy Elastic agents to the other nodes to send logs, you might want to consider a Standalone. |

Detail
My current setup has 4 VM's in total across two computers. I am using this just for a homelab/testing so it's not the best setup. I am using Eval mode. All 4 VM's are running through virtual box on a bridged network. I am able to ping all of the VM's from each other VM so I know they can see eachother but when I'm logged into my Security Onion Console I can not see any of the traffic that is created on the other VM's. I've been watching the Security Onion youtube video's but I didn't find my issue. I may not have been looking correctly but if anyone knows or understands the issue I would be greatful. Thanks.
It is currently set up as:
Computer 1:
Kali VM, 3 GB of RAM, 50 GB HD - 192.168.50.160
Windows 10 VM, 5 GB of RAM, 100 GB HD - 192.168.50.126
Computer 2:
Security Onion VM, 8 GB of RAM, 200 GB HD - 192.168.50.113
Metasploitable, Windows Server 2008, 4 GB of RAM, 100 GB - 192.168.50.162
