Security onion installation issue

So, I tried installing Security Onion EVAL on a VM following the steps of the youtube and I get stuck on this part always. It just gives me this error:

It looks like it can't access the internet to download packages from the repository.

Does this vm have internet access? If not you can also select the "airgap" option that way it does not require internet connection
