It's no problem to just re-run createrepo /nsm/repo after adding open-vm-tools to the manager. But I would be so thankful if this is added to future releases 😃
The use case, eg. is for deploying forward_nodes (as a vm) to ingest traffic from distributed switches on an ESXi and an analyst vm on the same cluster.
