Hive Integration with Existing Hive

Is it possible to set up Security Onion to send its hive alerts to an already existing hive instance on the network? I have a distributed Hive instance with multiple cortex engines already within my network and wasn't sure if there was a way of getting the escalate button in Security Onion's Alerts page to send its alert to my hive instance instead of the one that can get installed on initial setup of Security Onion.
