Gamma

The recent Waveshare 1.3 inch displays (ST7789), bought in October 2025, do have some Gamma issues.

Joystick

The joystick (both PLA and TPU) for the most beautiful case, the The Open Pill Mini w/ Coverplate Enclosure doesn't work any more properly. The performance is a bit unpredictable. Though I can't really see a visual difference between the new and old PCB part, something must have changed with the stem.

I've got the same issues, nice that the gamma issues in the display are already worked on. It still works fine in the current version.

Regarding the joystick, I've got the same case printed and in the I/O Test I can see that the joystick works well for left, right, up, down, but when trying to select/click the joystick only very rarely triggers a center click, mostly it triggers up, down, left or right. Keep holding the joystick down results in alternating between up and down or up and left or something like that. So using the joystick for navigation works fine when you use the last button on the right for selecting instead of the joystick.
