hello, i am trying to power it using a DC power supply, as you suggested, i
tried using the bat connector pins, i am giving 3.7V and limiting current
to 80mA, i am still facing the same problem, the current drawn jumps from
44mA to 80mA.

Hello, we do not recommend powering the board directly via the VUSB pin,
as this may cause unstable current issues. Additionally, if a Type-C cable
is connected at the same time, it could damage the board. We recommend
using the *Battery Connector* pin on the back of the board for a safer
and more stable power supply.

update, the c3 board takes around 150mA-180mA to turn on once, when using
ble, and then it constantly takes around 72mA
