Hi,
I'am not quite sure, what I did wrong. But maybe you can help!
I wanted to use the radar toghether with the xiao esp32 s3 and a dht22 as a room sensor. First it worked with an acceptable but smaller than promised range (about 2-3m it was able to correctly detect moving and still targets). But suddenly its range dropped significantly and its only able to detect targets being about 50cm or less away from the antenna. It is not inside a cansing and powered by battery or usb (makes no difference).
I soldered the radar directly to the pins of the xiao. For the dht22 i use 3,3v, GPIO7 and GND.
Seems like the gates 0-2 are working okay-ish but the gates with higher numbers do not work properly. The translation of the app is not good enough, that I could understand what I have to do. I tried setting the threshholds lower but I think lower than 5 will cause it to fire without anyone inside the room.

Okay, I think I found the problem. There was a defect on the left Antenna. I tried to bridge it with a bit of solder. Not working perfectly but mich better. Maybe that was a defect from the product because it didn't work properly right from the start. It is a very small and delicate part, the thin copper lead to the left antenna area.
