A new beta is now available for testing! A lot of things changed internally, but this was necessary to build what will become Kick.bot 1.0.

CHANGES

• Brand new UI for authentication, with support for both broadcaster account and bot account ;
• Support for Rewards (actions + trigger) ;
• Support for Predictions (actions + trigger) ;
• ChangeTitle + ChangeCategory replaced with ChangeStreamInfo ;
• New "Chat Updated" trigger and ChatAccountAge method ;
• Chat commands and cooldowns are now separated ;
• Chat commands are sorted (at launch) ;
• SendMessage and SendReply can now be followed by PinMessage ;

Documentation has been updated accordingly.

NOTE

Please note this is a beta version and should only be used if you understand what it means.
Bugs are still expected to happen in some untestable cases, so please report any anomaly with a full-report to me.

Some untested things are :

• Subs triggers (first-time and renewals)
• Gifted subs triggers
• Raid trigger

Everything else have been tested on my own channel and should work as expected.

INSTALLATION / UPGRADE

1. [Update only] Remove Kick.bot.dll and Kick.dll from Streamer.bot.
2. Launch Streamer.bot.
3. Unzip installation archive into dlls sub-folder.
4. Import the action.txt file into Streamer.bot and replace the existing action, if any.
5. Open the code sub-action and fix all references paths. The Find Refs can help you with that.
6. Just click OK and the bot should start.

Use the test trigger (right click on it, then run it) to open the config window. If you can't see it, check in the background.

KNOWN BUGS

• Pusher status in the config window might not be reported correctly, especially after the initial authentication. Check the notification for confirmation or just re-open the config window.

Normally in your releases there's two dll's kick.bot and kick.dll. Only kick.bot.dll is present

Yes, this is expected. That's why if you upgrade an existing installation, you need to remove both .dll beforehand to avoid keeping the unused one around.

The reference to the DLL is missing in the action code. You can edit the code and use the Compile button to check if everything's working properly.

Same problem when I fixed the directory. here's an updated log

Another base ref is still missing.
Try to empty out all refs (right click => Remove on each).

Then click on the Find Refs button. It should set these 2 automatically.

Then go to Compiling log and hit Compile. It should build correctly. If it doesn't, it should explain why.
