Description
On Mudlet client but seemingly not on raw telnet, after the reboot and logo is displayed, the "By what name do they call you?" message isn't output.
After packet captures and testing this is a MUD client and telnet Go Ahead side effect.
The "By what name do they call you?" login prompt doesn't emit a new line (which does the cute name immediately after question layout on traditional terminal). On initial login this is fine and output is displayed normally.
After login, prompts in game send a telnet GA. Mudlet (and possibly other clients) track this and now assume it should wait for GA on output without newlines before outputting the text (presumably waiting for additional text within the same line).
After a reboot the login text emits no new line and Mudlet now assumes it's waiting for a GA because it saw them earlier (and this is same connection).
The text is confirmed as received on client side just not output. Forcing GA interpretation to off in Mudlet prevents the behaviour.
If prompts use GA then fix might be to ensure one is sent after login line too... or login text could just send new line
