[🚀 Feature]: Request to upgrade Libcurl to match curl version

Feature and motivation

Hello Team,

Currently in our organization we are using latest image 4.34.0-20250717 for node images. Libcurl version for latest image is still in v8.5 even though curl is upgraded to v8.11. It seems the Libcurl version taking from the interdependent package. According to security scanning it is expected to use Libcurl v8.11 or greater.

Could you please let us know if you are going to fix that in upcoming versions.

It looks like Ubuntu distro doesn't release new deb package contains new version
When apt update, it says that is the latest version.
Did you successfully install latest version of it in a Ubuntu machine?

@prajaktak15 Did you also identify which binary is using this libcurl?
For curl alone, it is static binary, so there is no reference to the libcurl

We are not sure how to check that.

We tried some command.. but couldn't find the right results.

You mean the curl command didn't operate the right function that you are expecting?
