Description
What happened?
I have a Docker image that uses Selenium with Xvfb to run a Chromium-based test.
It appears to no longer work, but I am unsure why, as no dependencies have changed.
The error is reproducible on my Mac with macOS 14.7 (23H124) on Apple Silicon with Docker Desktop 4.36.0. [email protected] and [email protected].
The error does not happen on a Linux amd64 machine using a Docker image with the same version of Chromium and ChromeDriver (ChromeDriver 131.0.6778.85 (3d81e41b6f3ac8bcae63b32e8145c9eb0cd60a2d-refs/branch-heads/6778).
I've attached a self-contained minimum reproducible example.
I was going to try Selenium Manager but I cannot get it to run in the Docker container with a cryptic error (this is noted in the README in the reproduction repository).
I realize that this may be an upstream issue with ChromeDriver itself, however, given the rather generic error message, I am not even able to tell what the source of the issue might be.
How can we reproduce the issue?
