Save config in external file

Thanks again for this amazing software. Really enjoying it.
One suggestion: It would be great if the settings (quick settings tab) would could be saved in an external file before an update.

At the moment all my settings are reset after an update - so I need to reconfigure all the filters in quick configuration. Maybe I am using it wrong, but for what I see, the config is reset. Thank you!

Good suggestion. I will ensure that the previously saved settings are loaded in the next release. The settings are saved to a 'settings.ini' file but currently the app will discard any settings saved under a different version number to avoid compatibility issues. Ill rework the logic to bring in the previous settings where safe to do so.

(not sure if I should open another "issu"), but another thing I just saw, when changing settings here

each time there is gain in preamplification, when chosing Auto-Adjust PreAmp option. Like adding 0.1db each time I select an option. Not sure if this is dynamically changing dependent on content or if this is a fixed rate.

Are you able to confirm which version you are currently using? It will display the version in the third tab after launching the toolset. If it is v3.2.0 can you let me know what option you change that triggers adding the 0.1db? Just so that I can try to replicate it.

Yes, it's v3.2.0
When I change in quick configuration -> Channel Configuration -> Auto-adjust Preamp

- each of the available settings adds different numbers of db to the preAmplication(dB) field each time I select one from the drop down. So it adds up, for instance I select the first option, then the 2nd option it adds 0.3, and so on.

Thanks for the context. I found the issue, there was a small constant gain being subtracted from each option needlessly. This will be fixed in the next release.
