@diogomartino I also would like to help with development, but on the actual software engineering side. I find it time consuming and challenging to look at the open issues, determine which have had sufficient 'conversation', compare them with open PRs, then guess if the author of the issue is planning on resolving it themselves or if some other developer is working on it behind the scenes. Even tickets labeled as planned often lack details for a contributor to jump into. The single 'good first issue' was a low hanging fruit I tackled yesterday. I want to help rather than fork and develop myself, but that requires me to follow the projects strict contribution guidelines which make it seem like most issues are not ready to be worked on until fully approved and signed off on in which case they seem to be tackled by one of the main maintainers. I see some 'planned' issues, but a lot of them lack the detail needed to actually execute and make me wonder if they still need further discussion. Is there an easier way for me to find tickets or work I can pick up when time allows, and what qualifies as having been discussed enough for work to start? Although I have been a professional developer for a long time, I am new to open source contributing so I may just be missing something obvious or not used to the slow nature of development on a project like this. Anyway, thanks for the work on this project! Hope to help out more as I continue to gain understanding of the codebase and your development processes. |

I really love sharkord and wanted to help with its development. Though I can't code or anything like that is there a way to support maybe funding or donations?
