Blur component for native elements

When we gonna have ability on Blur component to blur out the native elements ?

I think this might be very useful, because at the moment we have only 1 library for blur operations and it is almost deprecated anymore.

We're interested to learn the best practices on getting the bitmap of the native views. This module seems to be as good as it gets so far: https://github.com/gre/react-native-view-shot have you played with it?

I've simplified it but multiple effects like texture, animation can be added.

I think this component just for image blurring right ? I actually mean blurring the background, components and etc ... just like this one ...

the old ones) working laggy... not 60fps

that's why I am expecting from Skia better performance.

Yes this is sort of work around and rely on captured image of that view, but still we can use it in some cases. And I also observed crashes in some android devices while using react-native-community/blur.
So its better than having nothing but not as good as iOS blur.
