Are there plans to add support for Linux?

Description

I want to use react-native on an Embedded System which cannot run Android but does run Linux. I was wondering that I can for time being use this in a browser runtime in Linux.

But are there any plans to add support for Linux? If no, Then can you point me at the right direction so that I can port this to Linux?

Is there a React Native Linux project? if yes we could look into it. Can you tell me more about what you have in mind?
