Changing signalk name on n2k network

Is there a way to change the device name of signalk on the nmea2000 network?

Only if you have a socketcan device and it currently can only be done by manually editing settings.json.

I'm curious as to why you would want to change it?

An example would be great! It was something I have thought of changing a couple of times. I have a couple of raspberry pi's set up for testing and it is helpful to distinguish them on the n2k device list.I was also curious if it was defined in canboat as a seperate device name if not running through signalk

Hi,
I tried to understand why the Product information pgn was not sent by my RPI setup using can0 and SignalK Canboatjs. By looking at your exemple it seems my settings.json is missing some values! But if try with yours it still not send the pgn. Where am I wrong?
