How to achieve WhatsApp-like silence + amplitude waveform?

Hi,

I want to customize the waveform in live recording mode so that:

When there is silence → show small dots/minimal bars

When there is sound → height should scale dynamically with amplitude (like WhatsApp)

Is there any way to achieve this, or do I need to modify normalizeWaveformData in native code?
