Help\Getting help the right way

If you have a question or a bug to report or just want to get a question answered, read this carefully. This page guides you on how to get the quickest and most efficient response.

Important before reporting issues

1. Give it ten minutes and experiment. Either you do it, or we have to do it. We have limited time on this planet, and we would rather spend it on actual development and adding new features to the product.
2. Ensure the issue is caused by this plugin.
3. Do a clean restart of the server and test whether the issue occurs again.

What You Should NEVER Do

The antidote to the section before.

1. Reloading (AutoReload, PlugMan, ..) This WILL break PunishControl. Do a clean server restart instead.
2. Using unsupported forks of server software (e.g. forks of Paper, Spigot, Waterfall, BungeeCord). Some forks are known to contain issues.
