"Save All" after a large find and replace doesn't open files in perforce, blocking saving

I don't know if this is an expected limitation or not. It would be great if this workflow was possible.

Hi, thanks for the report. It doesn't sound expected to me if normal checkout on save works for you. I'll investigate this. Scott.

I have been able to reproduce this issue. It seems like when VS does a replace all it doesn't issue the save in the same way as hitting the save button does - and that only works on open tabs, not ones marked as edited by replace all.

I'll investigate how this can be fixed.
