[Sitecore Jss] How to intercept extractLayoutServiceDataProxyResponse method of node_module package to handle the layout service failure scenario

Hello There,
i am using siteocre 10.2 xp jss sdk and using sitecore-jsss-proxy. I need to intercept extractLayoutServiceDataProxyResponse method of node_module package to handle the layout service failure scenario so incase of layout service is not working, we want to fetch the cached jsons from AWS S3. I have tried to overrider the "extractLayoutServiceDataProxyResponse" method in proxy app - ./src/index.ts" file but nothing working. Anyone knows how to achieve this with JSS 22.8.0 version?

I assume you're receiving an error response in this case, correct?
The replyWithError method is invoked when layout data fails to load. Handling this scenario on your side might be challenging unless we expose a custom hook - similar to how we introduced the custom onProxyReq.
It might be worth considering the addition of an onProxyRes hook in this case - it could make error handling more flexible.
You might be able to have a look if you can do something using onError hook. It’s worth taking a look to see.
