Elasticsearch server configuration

Hello,

I made the choice a long time ago to install Elasticsearch on another instance (virtual machine). This was recommended.

On my DEV site, for economic reasons, Elasticsearch is on the same instance (virtual machine).

I see a very clear better performance on my DEV site in loading categories and products.

Can anyone tell me if their experience has ever shown that setting up the Elasticsearch engine on another instance can create slowness?
