Ventura without supported iGPU

Hi, thank you for this wonderful kext.
I cannot get it to work with Ventura with my 13900k cpu.
It does connect to my Ipad by showing black screen, seems like the video is not being decode correctly
Any idea how to troubleshoot this, thanks

avconferenced is a daemon responsible for streaming encoding, and detailed information about avconferenced may be found in Console.app or system logs. In macOS Catalina, Sidecar in dGPU-only mode can work with very limited resolutions here, possibly because the discrete graphics card encoding implemented by Apple only supports a few fixed resolutions. As a result, there may be black borders on the iPad screen, resolution mismatch, and the pen touch and mouse position may not correspond correctly.

On Monterey, dGPU-only mode also results in a black screen, just like what you experienced. I guess this may be related to changes in the driver. I have very little knowledge of macOS graphics driver stack, and I apologize for not having delved into this issue deeply enough. It remains to be seen whether continuing to patch can solve these problems.

BTW, have you ever tried defaults write com.apple.AppleGVA gvaForceAMDKE -boolean yes from FeatureUnlock? After all, my kext simply removes the hard-coded board-id check in Apple frameworks.

I have tried that flag, but does this mean I have to install FeatureUnlock kext?

I doubt this is a driver problem with Ventura, because I have tried SMBios iMac19,1 and Sidecar works perfectly (with adequate wifi), no problem whatsoever, but I cannot keep an iMac SMBios for many reasons, that's why I hope someone has cracked this :D

This is good news, it seems that there is still logic in the system that determines the encoding process based on the SMBIOS model. I'll try to solve it when I have time.

Just played around with it, and I got this error from avconferenced
"Failed to create remote video encoder with usage 42 on macOS, err = -18!"
also this error before that
" [ERROR] -[VCMediaStreamTransport updateLastGeneratedKeyMaterial]:65 Security Key Holder not configured"

Also, do you need to include "-sidecarbetapro" with this version?
