Segmenter tool deletes geometries from original layer

Hi there,

I thought I'd just flag this issue, because it has resulted in the significant loss of work. The network segmenter tool has corrupted the original file it was running on, causing around 155,000+ features to have NULL geometries. This is running on QGIS 3.34 Prizren. This is the only time this has happened to me, but I just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else has experienced these issues and have figured out a way to avoid this happening.

Very sorry to hear @alockeSSx!

Also important to flag to others, to always keep backups of important input files before submitting them to transformations in a GIS tool, SST or otherwise.

Can you share a sample of the file that caused the problem? I can think of CRS issues possibly resulting in bad geometries.
