How to make validation work using collection

I want to make validate using collection and send the error message to user but the validate is not work properly.

You need to use *.name as you are validating multiple rows.

The validation only working if i added ->validate() but i don't known how to send notify when using ->validate() because in documentation here just say redirect when invalid

The notification has sended when using try{} catch{} block like bellow without withEvent
