Why XML was removed as an export type in version 3.1?

As title says, XML as an export type was really useful in version 3.0.
If using PHP 8, you are not able to downgrade to package version 3.0 and XML export functionality breaks.

We didn't remove XML. If it doesn't work it might be a bug of PhpSpreadsheet, but your information is very limited, so I don't know what exactly is going wrong based on your description.

Being undocumented is not the same as removed. As said before, if something doesn't work with XML it needs to be reported to php spreadsheet instead
