Passing a variable to afterSheet

This is probably a silly question but, it's driving me nuts. What is the proper way to pass a variable to appendRows? I'm wanting to do something like this:

public static function afterSheet(AfterSheet $event, $myVar)
    {
        $event->sheet->appendRows(array(
            array(
                'some text',
                'some other text',
                $myVar
            )
        ), $event);
    }

Or is there a better solution - something like the headings() method? [If not, I would like to suggest such a method - something like footers()].

Declare a getter on your import class and call it via the event

You can get your export object, via the event. Try dd() to see what information the event holds, it will put you in the right direction.

I'm also wondering about this. I've checked out the page you sent but still can't figure out how to reach the properties on my class.

If I dd() $event I can see exportable and also sheet->exportable. I can't reach any of the values there however. I manage to do it with an invade script, but what's the proper solution? Would you have a minute to give an example? Would be very appreciative!
