Batch import missing in 3.1v

I just wondered. because Batch import feature is not available in the latest version but it is available in the "maatwebsite/excel": "~2.1.0"

Does anyone know what's the reason for it?

It's easy to implement yourself and I didn't have any use case for it in the pas 7 years.

YES! It's not a use case for all. BTW, I was looking for the best option to import multiple excel files to an import object. Something similar to the following.

$files = [
   'user_1.xlsx',
   'user_2.xlsx'
];

Excel::import(new UserImport, $files);

But unfortunately, this is not available in this package, @patrickbrouwers Am I right?

No its not, just loop over the array and call the import multiple times for every file

Yes, we can loop but for my use case i need to validate all records using WithValidation of all files at once then import will be successful otherwise the DB transaction will be rollback.

You can put your own DB::transaction around your loop

I was busy with my project, sorry for the delay in reply. That method you mentioned does not suit me, because my use case is different than you think. BTW, this package is very easy to implement for my use case if it has the feature I mentioned earlier. But for now, I have used another method to solve my problem. If you think that feature(suggestion) is better to implement, let me know. I can contribute 😉
