Error composer require maatwebsite/excel

I would like to implement a CSV upload to the database via Laravel.

But when I want to install the extension maatwebsite/excel via composer (composer require maatwebsite/excel) I get an error message (see picture).

What can I do to make it install cleanly?

As composer indicates you need php gd extension installed

According to your composer.json dev-NumberFormatMask-Helpers blocks the installation. Seems you already have a phpspreadsheet install in your composer.json with an incompatible version.
