Migrate between 2.1 and 3.1

Hi

I am new to laravel and have inherited a project that has 67 different locations where an export is performed.
I am currently trying to upgrade from version 2.1 to version 3.1 of maatwebsite/excel as its the supported version.
The laravel project is on version 9.

I was wondering if anyone can point me at a tutorial / guide / documentation / video that would help in migrating code similar to the following (version 2.1 of maatwebsite/excel) to the latest supported version - 3.1
