How to use megaTinyCore with Arduinocli - command line example

I tried to use megaTinyCore with arduinocli to compile an Arduino project for ATTINY816 and the jtag2updi programmer. I was unable to compile the .ino file and obtain the .hex file.
The syntax of the Arduinocli.exe compilation command does not describe how to do this. Can anyone help?

If you compile the ino file within the IDE and turn on "verbose output" for compilation, you should see the commandline the IDE generates for compiling the sketch.
If I copy that commandline and paste it in a terminal window, It compiles again.

If you just want the hexfile, why not use the "Export compiled Binary" command.
