D-Bus won't provide org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.spotifyd.instancexxx after "source" change

spotifyd version 0.4.2.

Usecase: From my phone I will choose to play from my spotifyd device "MyCustomBox". Everything works perfectly. Music starts playing and info/album art data is received over D-Bus. Now, my friend chooses from his phone to play from "MyCustomBox". My music stops and friends music starts playing from my custom box but info / album art / position etc is not getting updates.

When my phone is connected:
~ $ dbus-send --session --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.DBus /org/freedesktop/DBus org.freedesktop.DBus.ListNames | grep spot
string "rs.spotifyd.instance1016"
string "org.mpris.MediaPlayer2.spotifyd.instance1016"

After friend takes over:
~ $ dbus-send --session --print-reply --dest=org.freedesktop.DBus /org/freedesktop/DBus org.freedesktop.DBus.ListNames | grep spot
string "rs.spotifyd.instance1016"

Is this expected? Or how to handle this problem?

That is indeed a bug, thank you for the report! I just looked at the code and might have found the culprit, maybe you can try if PR #1386 fixes that behaviour? (Binaries should soon be available here.)
