While i already have that discussion open: Is there a way for me inside the provider to obtain like the first defined NS Server? This provider doesn't really allow the SOA to be changed, but we can change the ns server and the email and leave the rest as is. |

Hello together,
i'm currently implementing a new provider for hosttech (small europe company, that offers dns).
I have an issue with the TXT Record, they only allow up to 255 characters and force me to split them into multiple records. What would be the best approach for the provider, should i handle the splitting and the insertion of mutliple entries (as it's interfering with the structure) or should i throw an error saying it's only supposed to be 255 characters.
Regards
