Outdated components and associated risks versus NIS2

Hello to the community,

With NIS2 and many people taking security risk to high level, I wonder if there are plans to update the containers, python, dependencies which are now quite old/unsupported?
Could you elaborate to what can be done to have supported, fixed versions of all of them?
