Feature Request: UI/UX Improvements and New Features

Keyboard Shortcuts

• Change radar products
• Toggle map overlays (radar icons, alerts, METAR stations, etc.)
• Toggle tools (color picker, drawing, radar site info, etc.)
• Middle/right click (hold on mobile) a point on the map to select the closest radar
• Customizable

Alerts

• Change styling for higher level alerts (Destructive, Considerable, Catastrophic, etc.)
• Sounds for specific alerts (off by default, editable?)
• Popup has higher level tags (Destructive, Considerable, Catastrophic, etc.)
• Popup displays all alerts when multiple are stacked
• Popups have a "X" to close them

Radar Products

• Keep the same product when switching radar sites (NEXRAD and TDWR?)
• Smoothing
• Playback

Other

• Display weather reports (SPC, mPING, or Spotter Network)
• Option to show your current location
• Add custom map markers
• Multi-pane support

Hey these are great feature requests! Keyboard shortcuts are actually awesome because they're a lot easier to write than making a whole new button or menu screen on the UI. I'll definitely add these in the rewrite!

Just seeing the new feature requests - tapping on the map to select the closest radar is a great idea! I saw it in an app called WeatherFront the other day where you press and hold on the map to change radars, and it was a really cool but simple feature.
