I'm trying to work with Stellarium in a planetarium. The issue is that in Spherical Mirror Distortion mode, Stellarium doesn't automatically sense and change screen resolution when moving from one monitor to another. I've attached two full screen captures of this effect. The first is a capture from my 4k screen and the second is a capture of the dome monitor which is set to 2560x1600. All I did is move the Stellarium window from one monitor to the other and did a screen capture. Stellarium was in full screen mode in both instances.
This does not happen when not in spherical mirror distortion mode. Stellarium automatically senses and adjusts to the new resolution in that case.
The only workaround I've found is to not turn on spherical mirror distortion mode until after the window has moved to the dome monitor. Difficulties arise though because it's hard to navigate the options window while on the dome and there is no keyboard shortcut key to swap modes. I'll have to wright my own hot key script.
The issue goes both directions. If going from the dome monitor to any other monitor while in spherical mirror mode Stellarium can't adjust to new resolutions.
