So many surveys!

Hi,

I just got introduced to the Surveys in Stellarium by some videos that used specifically NSNS surveys to show Ha and OIII. But There are many more surveys on the list. Is there an overview somewhere that describes what all the different surveys do and also which area they cover? Thanks.

Most of the surveys you can see by default are taken from http://alasky.u-strasbg.fr/MocServer/query?*/P/*&get=record. I don't know if there's any overview for them, but using this URI you can at least search the whole hipslist for the keywords you need, which will include obs_description and other fields instead of only filtering by name in the Stellarium GUI.
