Mpc list Off the air and the degrees of the zodiac no longer appear

You have to switch on the Zodiac, and use a skyculture that actually includes it.
And of course you need the solar system editor plugin.

If I'm saying that after updating to the latest version these things stop working

Regarding MPC elements, I had to downgrade to 25.3 due to the search function getting too slow on 25.4, but I cannot add Solar System objects either, so it might be an issue on MPC's end.

Which of the many MPC element download options did not work? I never had issues with comets recently, but our setups and platforms are almost certainly different, which is why we always must ask for more details.

I've been getting consistent time outs for MPC for a while. But I just tried changing my connection to wifi from my mobile hotspot instead of fiber broadband, and now it works immediately. I just remembered I have been having connection issues recently with some specific web sites, which only work after a second or third try with connection via fiber, but I have no issues with mobile connection. Now I searched for the same object and it loaded almost immediately.

Edit: funnily enough, I don't have any issues getting Survey data that I have never loaded ever before (in case there is some caching, I don't remember if that's possible), using my fiber connection. I suppose the MPC server(s) (and others) are blocking all or some requests from my router, but not from my phone? Indeed, trying to connect to minorplanetcenter (dot) net also times out on by web browser with fiber, and not with the mobile hotspot.

Again guesswork, but from the OpenType Info lines, you are also on Windows 11? And is it the Qt6 based or Qt5-based build?

This is WIndows 10 22H2, Stellarium 25.3.0 (64 bit), Qt 6.8.3.

I had to downgrade from 25.4 since the search function would slow Stellarium down to a crawl, rendering it unusable. I'll have to pass until the next build that solves this.
