Ocular view - change color of compass rose

The compass rose appears in black when I select it in Ocular view. According to the config,ini file, the color should be red according to this line:
compass_marks_color = 1.0000000000,0.0000000000,0.0000000000

Is there another way to convince Stellarium 25.3 to change the compass rose color?

Nope, you're looking color for compass marks in main GUI, not for Oculars plugin. Please show modules\Oculars\ocular.ini file

Reticle is a red originally, so, we have sum of colors here.

Isn't that still a weird solution? Draw makeshift crosshairs with the configured color, and the etched plate in another reticle eyepiece in red? IMO a consistent solution would draw also the complicated etched reticle in the configured color, even if green.

Well, I've removing setting of color for reticles and protractors in Oculars plugin - both use original color now (it's a red) - no strange colors anymore, everything just like an original devices.

Thanks for your reply, Georg. I have the same colors selected in my Oculars dialogue. But my ocular's compass rose remains black. According to the User Guide, there is no color-box for reticle color, and the Text Color is for screen messages (such as which telescope and eyepiece you selected) when the on-screen control panel is not shown. The red box is labeled Line Color as the crosshairs consist of lines. However now I found what you mean with "compass rose". Whatever I try, this remains red, so @alex-w if anything, we would need yet another color box there.
