Compile errors with Typescript 2.0

I upgraded my project to Typescript 2.0 and received some compile errors. Are you planning on updating to 2.0?

Hi Daryl, I don't have any immediate plans to upgrade to 2.0. If you're able to get it working with 2.0 and would like to submit a pull request that would be great.
