Issue with registration and sigining with passkeys

When you try to register a passkey it just says there was an error verifying and then it shows up as added a key in accounts page
but when you try to signin with that key you get again a failed to verify by server error this is the error log I saw in the logs

Has anyone had this issue and know how to resolve this?

I guess giving a bit more info is mandatory I am using a custom user model and I am using Wagtail 7.1.1 at the moment

Hey @anvishinc my best guess would be that you don't have django_otp.middleware.OTPMiddleware in your MIDDLEWARE django setting, which is required for proper functionality. The middleware is responsible for adding a is_verified method to request.user, which is where the failure happens.

Though your error message seems to indicate you might already have a boolean field named exactly like that on your custom user model? That might be a source of conflict as well.

Check if you have the middleware configured (I see the instructions for adding that are not in the README, sorry about that)
