raster package replaced with terra #2

Thank you for this useful package. Can you please update it to take in raster and vector files in the terra package format in addition to the raster format? The terra package has replaced the raster package in October 2023, and it would be great if ExtractTrainData can use both formats as people transition from raster to terra.
