Is the Screen stebilization feature still present and working?

Hello,
I previously saw screen stebilization featuring working on android 10 version of superior os.
so, was curious about how you got it working.
Is it a patch that is in the superior os source or is it a device specific patch ?
I wanted to port this feature to another rom for other device.
