Description
Operating System
Gentoo
OpenXR Runtime

Describe the issue.
I tried to use Virtual Motion Capture (https://github.com/sh-akira/VirtualMotionCapture/releases),
And for any reason, it doesn't catch any kind of Tracker (including controllers)
Please attach a log if applicable.
Logs are located at ~/.local/state/xrizer/xrizer.txt.
The Logs just say this:
[2026-03-18T19:36:26.867 INFO xrizer ThreadId(1)] Initializing XRizer
[2026-03-18T19:36:26.867 INFO xrizer::clientcore ThreadId(1)] Creating ClientCore version "IVRClientCore_003"
[2026-03-18T19:36:26.867 ERROR xrizer::clientcore ThreadId(1)] Unsupported application type: Overlay
Steps to reproduce
- (Optional) Download a Sample Avatar (These should be fine: https://github.com/madjin/vrm-samples/tree/master/vroid)
- Download VMC (https://github.com/sh-akira/VirtualMotionCapture/releases)
- Open VMC
- Click on 'Setting'
- On that Window, click on "Open Tracker assignment Settings"
- It should appear as any kind of tracker. (It doesn't)
- To check the tracking requires the Sample Avatar:
- On the Control Panel, click on Open VRM, Select Sample VRM, yada, yada, accept.
- On the Control Panel, click on Calibration and in the render window, you should see rounded meshes as a reference to the trackers
Please confirm you have reproduced this on the latest commit.
