							<p>In an effort to prime Las Piñas as a tourism and cultural site to attract local and foreign investors, several beautification projects are being implemented throughout the city. The flagship project, the Las Piñas Historical Corridor Project is an ambitious restoration and preservation project involves physical restoration and transformation highlighting our rich cultural heritage.</p>
							<p>Old historical and cultural landmarks in strategic locations are being constructed (or re-constructed, as the case may be) in accordance to specific regulations. The effect is a nostalgic walk through a quaint and charming town right out of the pre-colonial Spanish era.</p>
							<p>The Historical Corridor Project was initiated by Senator Manny and Congressman Cynthia Villar and former Mayor Nene Aguilar. The project is also being supported by Mrs. Imelda Aguilar.</p>
