Error during transpilation with certain libraries

When running the switch:nro task, the following error is thrown:

That's a helper library provided by TommyEttinger from libGDX, used in his SquidSquad library.

I've thoroughly read through the documentation provided in the repository, and haven't been able to remedy the issue myself to the point. Here are some config files for context:

Looking briefly, it seems to be an issue with some dependency in the jdkgdxds library. Without better output from the transpiler, I'd guess it's either a missing dependent Java runtime class that isn't implemented or some edge case in the transpiler with default methods, given the number in use in that library.

The transpiler doesn't have great output currently, but is pretty easy to debug to see what's going wrong. I usually run the gradle build command in verbose mode then copy the arguments sent to the transpiler command and debug the transpiler with said args. I can try building a test project with the same dependencies when I have a bit of time.

This may just have been a bug in that old transpiler version that has since been fixed. I was able to run one of the SquidSquad demos, DawnSquad, which mostly worked without issue. Used switch-gdx version v3.0.2 and clearwing version v3.1.3. The only issue I saw was that debug builds don't work on that particular clearwing version due to an incorrect assertion in the GC, but switch builds and release desktop builds work fine. Of course, the transpiler only compiles required classes, so it's possible that your particular project relies on some unimplemented runtime class and the error message just isn't helpful, but I'm thinking it was just an old bug.
