Moving using the d-pad doesn't work on menus on Android TV #1089

Describe the bug
Menu navigation on Android TV is extremely weird and doesn't behave properly. Some menu options are inaccessible and others only sometimes work
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Go to the app on Android TV
- Click on the up or down button on the d-pad
- Try to go to any of the menus
- See error
Expected behavior
The menus are working as expected and are completely responsive without much work
