<p class="text-gray-600 text-sm mb-4">Chemistry is overall / in its basics a science of experimentation and its proper refinement.
It bodes a striving for understanding the reactions taking place on every scale and reaches out for turning the acquainted knowledge into practical use for developing new ideas which reshape our everyday life and improve our status and possibilities of research.
Nothing else has been done by those of us who wanted to combine the disciplines of biotechnology and chemistry for improving the current method of the recycling of critical (raw) metals.
We have directed our attention towards a very special of these metals, the so-called PGM’s.
PGM is an abbreviation for Platin Group Metals and refers to a group of metals being crucial to catalysts.
They are supposed to overall reduce dangerous emissions from vehicles.
The recycling of the PGM’s is, given taken place at all, very expensive and takes a lot of time, as a lot of chemicals are involved.
This results in dumping a considerable high percentage of PGM’s together with the broken and old catalysts in which they originally had been built.
As each new problem demands a new and inventive solution, we wanted to elaborate a new and better method for recycling PGM’s.
Our method is working without the use of expensive chemicals or exquisite equipment.
Furthermore, it holds the potential to create a (continuous) working circle together with the realization of our biotechnological projects being fed on by the addition of further remains of shredded catalysts.
